Administrative Assistant (Full Time)- NRRA

The nonprofit Northeast Resource Recovery Association (NRRA) seeks a self-motivated individual for the position of Administrative Assistant.  The successful candidate will have a desire to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment, possess an associate’s or bachelor’s degree, have excellent customer service skills and support NRRA’s mission to partner with communities to make recycling and waste reduction strong through economic and environmentally sound solutions.

This is a full-time position based at the NRRA office in Epsom, NH.  NRRA is one of only a handful of nonprofits in the country that connects municipalities and businesses selling recyclable commodities with buyers of those recyclables.  The Administrative Assistant lends support to the Administrative Manager in many areas of the Administrative Department including assisting with reception duties, answering several incoming phone lines and assisting/directing callers, assisting with website updates and maintenance, creating and editing emails using applicable software, logistical duties, and assisting other departments as needed.  Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively and calmly under pressure are essential for this position.

The Northeast Resource Recovery Association is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. NRRA provides cooperative purchasing programs, educational and networking opportunities, technical assistance, and cooperative marketing programs that have received national recognition for establishing innovative grassroots recyclables marketing cooperatives with competitive pricing which enable small rural and large urban communities to manage their own recycling programs.
